How to read your results

Record status

NOERROR means the resolver answered. NODATA means that record type was absent. NXDOMAIN means the queried name did not exist. TIMEOUT and other failures are inconclusive.

TTL & resolver differences

TTL is the remaining cache lifetime, in seconds. Different resolvers can show different answers because of caching, routing or filtering. This tool does not contact every authoritative server.

SRV priority & weight

Lower priority is preferred. Weight influences selection among records with the same priority. A dot target means that service is unavailable. The displayed port is a DNS value; it has not been connection-tested.

Source limits & privacy

DNS questions go to the resolver you choose. Public IP enrichment uses IANA/RIR RDAP, Team Cymru, IPinfo and The Spamhaus Project. Missing data stays unknown. No paid API key is required; provider availability and limits apply.
